Management Team

Rich Marshall, President of Community Bank Funding Company, possesses extensive banking experience having worked at Citigroup/Citibank for over 20 years in executive roles in the US, Japan and Singapore.

Bob Colvin, Founder of Community Bank Funding Company, has more than 30 years of experience in financial services working with community banks. He has been responsible for developing a number of innovative products such as the Risk Analytics Interest Rate Risk Management Software, considered one of the best A/L management tools, Index Powered CD, an equity-linked CD program for community banks, eTN, an electronic transaction network for wholesale banking transactions, and the Capital Market CD program.

Jeremy Colvin, Director of Sales, has more than 11 years of financial services experience working with asset liability management, the development of liquidity solutions and broker relationships for community banks.

Board of Directors

Robert Possehl, President of Republic, is a member of the board of directors for Community Bank Funding Company.  At Republic, he oversees operating companies and the Special Assets, Structured Finance and Private Equity business groups. From 2004 through 2007, he acted as executive vice president of the company and he has served on the leadership team since 2001. During his more than 10 years with Republic, he has served as president of the Special Assets Group as well as vice president and assistant head of the Capital Markets team.

Chuck Singleton, President of Special Assets at Republic Financial, is a member of the board of directors for Community Bank Funding Company. Singleton joined Republic in June 1997 to help build the acquisition and collection teams of the Special Assets group. His initial responsibility was to implement a pricing system to acquire non-performing loans. Subsequently, he was promoted to managing director of underwriting in January 2000. During the last half of 2002 and 2003 he played a leading role both in the marketing and underwriting for Special Assets. Mr. Singleton came to Republic with over 10 years of experience in the acquisition and resolution of distressed assets. Most recently, he was the director of business development at Ocwen Financial Corp., where he was instrumental in developing a pricing methodology for non-real estate backed assets. From 1988 to 1994, Mr. Singleton served as senior vice president and minority partner of General Financial Services, Inc.
